Connecting CF Youth exists because youth from CF families and their friends need a place to meet, chat, listen, debate, relate and find information on the things that matter to them. Connecting CF youth is a community – your community. A place to call home wherever you are, whatever your interests. Speak out, chill out or veg out…this is your site – enjoy.

About CFPSA

Connecting CF Youth web site is a project initiated and managed by the Canadian Forces Personal Service Agency. The CFPSA provides personnel support programs and services to the Canadian Forces member and families.

The Connecting CF Youth web site – Totally youth! Totally yours!

Connecting CF Youth is an online adventure that brings CF Youth and their civilian friends, together, to connect exchange and collaborate “virtually” with youth from CF bases across Canada.

Why a web site for Canadian Forces Youth and their friends?

In 2003, young people from CF bases across Canada took part in youth visioning workshops. They told organizers that youth from CF families needed a way to connect with other CF youth across Canada and with their civilian friends. They described a meeting place where they could share common experiences, get information about CF youth programs and activities, and get help and support to make new friends or find lost friends. CFPSA has done something with these recommendations. The CFPSA created a pilot project involving hundreds of youth from across the country to design and build this web site. Connecting CF Youth is the result of an amazing collaboration and is the realization of the dreams of CF youth.
