Connecting CF Youth - Relocation

Relocation

There’s no getting around it. The hardest thing in the lives of Canadian military family youth is the numerous moves! If your parents are serving in the army, your chances of moving often are quite high.

Because this is something you will have to live with, you will have to learn to pack your things quickly, change your living routine and leave people and places familiar to you to go to other unknown locations.

And I can tell you that in spite of all the practice you may get in this area over the years, you will never be prepared for the next move.

Here is a list of Internet sites that can help you buffer the impacts of relocation and offer you tips and tricks to get better prepared for moves.
