At your service: MISSION INFORMATION LINE
Want to know more about a particular mission or find out what life is like in the country where your family member has been deployed? Check out the Mission Information Line at http://www.cfpsa.com/en/psp/MIL/index.asp! Or call 1-800-866-4546. It’s a 1-800 number so the call is free. Here, you can listen to pre-recorded messages from Canadian Forces personnel who are deployed on various missions around the world! New messages are recorded weekly so you can always be up-to-date on what’s happening. Find out what they are doing, what the camp is like, and what day-to-day living is like in their location. It may even be your mom, dad or other family member who does the recording that week!
The automated system is available 24/7. If you prefer to talk to someone about a particular issue, or ask a question about something specific, you can talk to a member of our staff from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our staff members are there to answer your questions and to help you with some of the difficult issues and feelings surrounding the deployment of your family member.
To take advantage of this free service – call 1-800-866-4546. We’d like to hear from you.
